Locally-grown Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs, and More From the Farm
LoPiccolo Farms, formerly called Montana Garlic Farm, has developed a reputation in Arizona and the southwest as organic growers of fresh produce. Established in 1996, we've been offering fresh whole foods grown locally for more than 25 years.
We grow garlic, herbs, a variety of vegetables, grapefruit, and other natural and organic produce. We are developing a variety of products with our farm produce, including garlic braids, dehydrated garlic, mixed herbs, grapefruit marmalade, and more. We also educate about growing in the desert southwest.

Prior to that, Montana Garlic Farm was growing and thriving along the Yellowstone River. As with many things in life, change brought us to the edge of the Sonoran Desert, to a place with an abundance of citrus fruit and room to grow. We continue to passionately provide juicy garlic and great food for your enjoyment.
Garlic and grapefruit are staples at LoPiccolo Farms. We also grow a variety of herbs, including parsley, oregano, chives, cilantro, and dill. Seasonal vegetables include peas, radishes, carrots, and a variety of greens.

A RADISH SANDWICH starts with chilling the radishes at least 30 minutes in a bowl of ice water. Using your favorite bread and unslted butter, generously spread butter on bread, lightly salt, and place sliced radishes on top. Radish sandwiches may be served open faced or with an additional piece of bread on top!
BE CREATIVE and try cream cheese instead of butter or sprinkle a bit of fresh herbs (tarragon, rosemary, chives, or dill…) before adding the radish slices.
ENJOY the crunchy, refreshing flavor of this simple sandwich.
GARLIC WITH MIXED GREENS, like kale, chard, Chinese cabbage, bok choy, and/or mustard greens, can be chopped and lightly sauteed in olive oil, with fresh, sliced garlic and finely chopped peppers. SERVE these greens as a side dish, as a garnish for meat or fish, or as a topping for a burger. ENJOY the freshness and flavor!

In Maricopa County, Arizona, we plant in late October or early November when the nights start cooling down. Plant 4-6 weeks before the ground freezes, which is about the third week of October in Sweet Grass County, Montana.
Our wonderful customers are the reason we’re in business.
“Venison sirloin, zucchini, and campfire potatoes with Montana garlic – a perfect autumn night… So good! Very interesting flavor; not generic, rather very crisp, spicy, almost floral notes. A garlic connoisseur’s dream.” ~Tamara L.
We’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re a satisfied customer, too!
